Funniest Cartoon In Gynocology Office

I was paying my co-pay at the gynecology office and I saw this cartoon on the back of the receptionist’s computer and I was cracking up and wanted to share this with you.   The cartoon read like this: Men shouldn’t leave phone messages… Someone From the Gyna Colleges Called.  They Said The Pabst Beer Is Normal.  I Didn’t Even Know You Liked Beer! In The House Where Christmas Never Ends

We took our Christmas tree down this past Monday. This was late even for us. I always leave it up to celebrate Orthodox Christmas which is on January 7th. My mother comes from a Russian Orthodox background, so I love to keep that tradition alive. However, this year January 7th came and went…the tree stayed up. January 7th turned into the 18th when I was doing other stuff. Who knows what that other stuff...

My Guy Luke

My 10 year old son Luke has had long surfer dude kind of hair since kindergarten. He’s in fourth grade now. He was thinking about getting his hair cut when my husband suggested Locks of Love. Sooooo he grew is hair even longer, waiting patiently for it to get to the required 10 inches. The game plan was to divide it into several ponytails, but still 10 inches is awfully long for a boy. He came to a point...

The Disappearing Lift Ticket

We took the kids skiing in Vermont over the holiday break. We really had a great time. Here’s the thing though - lots of work getting your kids ready to brave the cold for any sort of outdoor activity, right?  You know the drill…missing gloves, wet snowpants, can’t buckle boots and on and on and on. Quite honestly, by the time we hit the slopes, my husband and I were exhausted. The one day...
