The little boys (now 10 and 7 YIKES) went to the best preschool in the whole universe. Having four kids AND having moved six times in the span of ten years, I have been around the preschool block more than a few times. At the best preschool ever, every spring they hatch baby chicks in an incubator. THEN they actually allow these preschoolers to yes, take the baby chicks home with them. It just seemed too good...

We came home from vacation with happy memories, great pictures and roaring diarrhea in both of our dogs thanks to running out of their uber healthy food. We had searched everywhere to find their food, but had to resort to switching them over to another brand. We knew we were in for trouble. Last week I took the little boys (ages 10 and 7) to church along with my daughter Clair (14). After the service, a small group of us were praying for Clair…she was leaving to go on a three week trip to Europe the next day (nice to be Clair, right?!). Right in the middle of this, one of the little boys boldly starts interrupting the prayer to get my attention. Steam is coming out of my ears at the shear...

I was driving home and for once, not in a hurry. Two streets from my house, I was being flagged down by two little girls selling ice tea and lemonade. I always drive by stands - either I am in a hurry or I just don’t feel like stopping. Am I a bad mom? So, I felt guilty this time and thought, okay, I am a little thirsty, I might as well stop. I modeled my oldest daughter when she was a baby. I was in New York City one day for a photo shoot which seemed to take take forever. When it was finished, I just wanted to get the heck out of there and be on my way. I thought I should probably go to the bathroom, but I didn’t feel like dragging the car seat and the baby in the stall with me and thought I could probably hold it until I get home. ...
